Little River Band Weekly Magazine

Little River Band Weekly Magazine

David Briggs: “When the LRB was touring the tour manager Steve White wrote a news sheet known as “the Little River Band Weekly Magazine”.It was neither a weekly or a magazine. It’s contents were based on tour information coming up, through to contributions by band and crew as they were motivated, including all sorts of salacious and tour related scandal and gossip. There were several of these issues. The particular cover I have posted here is some what entertaining with it’s news grabs..including “special feature- road destruction”… Headlined in the publication…”Car Carnage in Motor City” ..the tale of the destruction of a rent-a-car by Michael Wickow and embarrassingly, my good self..the author although anonymous, I believe was my still close friend drummer Derek Pellicci…I still recollect the Sherriff of the area concerned saying “you boys..is animals” in his best Buford T Justice accent.”
