A Will I (Long Version)
B Will I (Edited Version)
Mississippi’s third, and final single – Beeb Birtles & Darryl Cotton’s “Will I”, which was recorded during the same sessions as “Early Morning”. The song’s questioning, self-seeking mood is indicative of the way Beeb would often relate to songwriting in the future.
Frieze Split
Beeb Birtles: “I don’t have very fond memories of those days (Frieze) at all. That sort of thing never really appealed to me and I hated the sort of gigs that we were doing. Playing in department stores isn’t my idea of a career in music. Even when we put the band together, we used to do a lot of shows in hotels, and that wasn’t really my scene either. I just have very bad memories of that whole year because of the type of gigs we used to do.”
