“Lonesome Loser” is a single from the Little River Band’s 1979 album, “First Under The Wire”. Written by guitarist David Briggs, it was a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit in the United States peaking at number 6. Back in Australia, charting as high as 19 on the Australian Singles Charts.
